Itunes and Elementary OS
When I am asked how to install Itunes on EOS(Elementary Operating System) my normal reply is why would you want to do that?

I have installed Itunes using WINE and Play on Linux my conclusion is this... Itunes is a mediocre program at best and there are better options.

The best program to replace Itunes is Rhythmbox, I normally install Rhythmbox when I install EOS, it can play music from an Ipad/pod/phone/tablet and it can sync the device with the music with the mp3's on your computer.

There is also a program called gtkpod to manage the Ipad/pod/phone/tablet. You can download it in App Manager or paste this into the terminal sudo apt-get install gtkpod

Downloading legal music in a similar way to Itune's was not easy, until recently.

Google has released a beta Music Manager. It allows you to download and upload music to Google Play. To download Google music manager visit this page https://play.google.com/music/listen?u=0#/manager

Music Manager installs easily. When you open it you sign into your Account and you can download music. If you don't have a Google Play account you'll need to sign up before it will work correctly. Google Play allows you to purchase and download entire albums or individual songs.
